Michael Schmidt (bowling)
Michael Schmidt (born 26 October 1980 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) is one of the world's leading Ten-pin bowlers, best known for his performances in the QubicaAMF World Cup.
In 2005 he won the 7th Bowling World Cup title for Canada defeating Or Aviram of Israel in the men’s final of the 41st QubicaAMF World Cup 〔(Michael Schmidt crowned men's 2005 QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup Champion )〕 to give Canada its seventh Bowling World Cup title and a tie with the Philippines for the second most wins.
